Bono hero, Morocco eliminates Spain on penalties


The match between Spain and Morocco ended 0-0 in both regular time and extra time, with penalties deciding the winner, with the Moroccans celebrating in the end.

The match went with Spain dominating the ball, while Morocco tried on counterattacks.

The first chance in the match was Marco Asensio who received a pass from Jordi Alba, but it was not accurate.

Morocco at the end of the first half took a risk, when Sofiane Boufal found Nayef Aguerd, who did not react well.

The second half did not bring anything good, where the chances were missing, for the game to continue.

In continuation, Morocco had the best chance, when Walid Cheddira got into the area beautifully, but his shot was stopped by Unai Simon.
At the very end of extra time, Sarabia hit the post with a shot from close range.

This became the first game that went to penalties, from the 1/8th.

The most successful from the penalty spot were the Moroccans who scored three times, while Bono of Morocco saved three penalties.
