Bayer Leverkusen are trying to sign 30-year-old West Ham right-back Vladimir Coufal in the winter, according to Sky.

Talks have taken place between Leverkusen and West Ham for right-back Vladimir Coufal. Per Sky, a delegation plan to fly from the German club to London in the coming days in order to complete the deal by January.
Xabi Alonso clearly wants to add depth to the full-back position with Jeremie Frimpong playing so far up the pitch and Mitchel Bakker’s future up in the air. Coufal’s contract expires in 2023.
Three players were listed as potential outgoings if a deal does take place. Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Daley Sinkgraven and Charles Aranguiz.
