Former Sheffield United attacker Lys Mousset has joined Bochum on a contract until 2024.
VfL Bochum have snapped up 26-year-old French forward Lys Mousset on a free transfer.
Mousset, whose contract with Sheffield United expired at the end of last season, has penned a two-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
“Lys Mousset has enjoyed the excellent French youth training, showed his skills first in France and then for several years at the highest level in England. With him, we have been able to add an interest.
“I’m glad that the time of waiting is now over for me,” added Mousset, referring to the fact that he had been out of contract for a few months before signing for Bochum.
“I’m a football player, so I want to be on the pitch and play as often as possible. The Bundesliga is pretty new territory for me, I only know it from the media so far.
“I’m curious to get to know my new teammates and I’m looking forward to the first sessions with them.”
