According to Fabrizio Romano Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos has scheduled a meeting with another Parisian youth player, this time holding talks with midfielder Édouard Michut (19) on his future at the club.
The attacking midfielder joins a whole selection of youth players that are contemplating their future at PSG – with Xavi Simons leaving for PSV Eindhoven, and Ayman Kari deciding in the last minute to sign a professional contract with PSG after talks with Campos and Yohan Cabaye.
In May L’Équipe reported that the promising midfielder was seeking to leave PSG this summer as he was disappointed by a lack of game-time under Mauricio Pochettino. The €8 million-rated Frenchman favoured a move to Sevilla.
Campos is intervening again to try and keep the Parisian side’s best youth prospects in the club after Qatari president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi again expressed his desire for a ‘Parisian only’ team with revamped youth facilities at a new training ground at Poissy.
