Stefan Ortega to join Manchester City, according to Kicker

Kicker is reporting that departing Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is set to sign for Manchester City.

After leaving Arminia Bielefeld on a free transfer, Stefan Ortega is apparently heading to Manchester City.

According to German football magazine Kicker, the 29-year-old goalkeeper is set to join ‘The Citizens’, who will make him their new number two goalkeeper behind Ederson.

Ortega has been linked with a number of different clubs after an impressive 2021/22 campaign, which saw him keep six clean sheets for relegated Arminia Bielefeld.
