Mario Götze turns down 'serious interest' from top clubs to sign new PSV deal

Sport1 reports that Mario Götze has agreed to join Eintracht Frankfurt from PSV-

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly edging closer to the signing of Mario Götze from PSV.


According to Sport1, the Bundesliga outfit and the German World Cup winner have agreed personal terms on a contract worth just over €4 million per season.

Frankfurt are ready to activate a €4 million release clause in the midfielder’s contract to bring him back to Germany.

Eintracht’s supervisory board are expected to give the green light for the transfer to go through when they meet today, Monday.

Götze, 30, racked up 12 goals and 11 assists in 52 games for PSV through the 2021/22 season.
