Several sources claims that Mainz captain Moussa Niakhaté has agreed personal with Nottingham Forest. However, the two clubs remain far apart on a transfer fee.

That is according to Bild, who claims that Mainz have rejected a first bid from Nottingham.

Apparently, the newly-promoted Premier League club made an offer below €10 million, with Mainz holding out for at least €15 million for the sought-after central defender.

Per Bild, Mainz are in “no hurry” to sell Niakhaté at this early stage of the summer transfer market.
