It is set to be a summer of change at Tottenham Hotspur as Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici prepare the squad for a big season ahead.

Spurs face Champions League football next season after Conte led them to fourth place in the Premier League at the end of this campaign. Now the club’s managing director of football Paratici must build him a squad capable of challenging both in Europe’s elite club competition and each week in the league.

Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic is the first arrival of what is set to be a busy summer at Tottenham with Conte wanting at least six new faces and as many expected to leave the club. Spurs announced on Thursday the departure of 13 players that would be leaving the club this summer at the end of their contracts.

Spurs want to sign another player from Inter Milan in centre-back Alessandro Bastoni but the 23-year-old’s reluctance to leave the Serie A club is causing problems with that deal progressing as they would have hoped. Then there is former Tottenham winger Gareth Bale who has announced his departure from Real Madrid and has been linked repeatedly with a return to north London.

Our two Spurs correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest have been discussing the latest goings on with both players as well as all of the above topics and plenty more in the latest episode of their podcast Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham.
