Chelsea will be looking to put a run of poor form behind them on Wednesday when they face league strugglers Leeds United at Elland Road. The Blues have only managed one win in their last five league games, struggling to convince in the season’s latter stages.
The latest disappointment came on Saturday, where Thomas Tuchel’s men dropped a two-goal lead at home to Wolves to draw 2-2 in injury time. With fourth-placed Arsenal only one point behind them and Tottenham in fifth also lurking, Chelsea’s qualification for next year’s Champions League is still in their hands.
With that in mind, as well as a huge FA Cup final this weekend, the Blues will be hoping for all the momentum they can get. They’ll likely face a tough challenge in Leeds, who have been drawn into the bottom three heading into the season’s final few games.
