Chris Sutton has claimed Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski is better than Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
Kulusevski joined Spurs during the January transfer window. Mikel Arteta and Co reportedly turned down the chance to sign the Swedish international due to the Gunners’ plethora of options on the flanks. However, the 22-year-old has hit the ground running in north London, netting three goals and providing a further eight assists in just 15 Premier League outings.
Now, former Chelsea frontman Sutton has surprisingly backed the talented former Juventus ace ahead of Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka, claiming that Tottenham’s front three of Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane blows the Gunners’ attack out the water. “I think Spurs front line leaves Arsenal’s for dead, he told The Monday Night Club.

“There’s not one Arsenal player I could see who would get in front of Kane, Son and Kulusevski. Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards was surprised by Sutton’s comments, bringing up England international Saka in the debate.
“Saka?” Richards replied. But Sutton stood true to his original comments, saying: “I prefer Kulusevski.”
The two talented wingers will battle it out on Thursday night in the north London derby as Arteta’s side travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Antonio Conte’s first match against Arsenal since joining the Lillywhites. The Gunners currently sit four points clear of their local rivals, and a win would secure them a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League – ending their five-year hiatus from the competition.
However, Spurs are undefeated at home against Arsenal since 2015, when Mathieu Flamini netted a brace during a League Cup tie that saw the Gunners win 2-1.
