Well-known football agent, Mino Raiola died today (Saturday) after a long battle with the disease, his family has confirmed.
The multi-player representative had been ill for some time and was being treated in Milan for many months, which prompted two different reports that he had died in the last four months.
However, already everything is real and the well-known footballer agent has died during the present day.
“Mino fought to the end with the same force he placed at the negotiating tables to protect our players,” the family said in a statement on his private Twitter account.
Raiola was probably the most famous football agent in the world, born in Italy and transferred to the Netherlands as a child.
He entered the sport initially as a translator and later became a prominent talent scout who could negotiate the best deals for his players.
His rather rough manner of dealing with clubs and the media also garnered titles, as well as his extraordinary wealth earned by commissions.
