More appearances under the coaching regime of his father Pal and some recent appearances at Germany’s top youth level have seen 20-year-old defender Marton Dardai of Hertha BSC’s estimated market value rise from just €700,000 in January 2021 to an estimated €5.5 million less than 18 months later.

Often the subject of loan rumors, it appears as if some Bundesliga clubs might be interested in procuring the youngster for the coming season. This is according to a report in Germany’s main “Boulevard-Blatt”, “Sport Bild”. The German tabloid lists Dortmund, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim, and Eintracht Frankfurt as interested parties

The report notes that “some talks are already underway”, but offers no more specific information. The younger Dardai son’s current deal with the capital city side, penned one year ago this month, runs through 2025.
