Eintracht Frankfurt vs West Ham highlights: Cresswell, Moyes see red as Hammers exit Europe

Badges of West Ham and Frankfurt

This evening, Eintracht Frankfurt hosts West Ham at the Deutsche Bank Arena in the second leg of their semi-final for a place in the Europa League final.

The Bundesliga outfit currently leads the tie 2-1 following their excellent performance at the London Stadium last week. They will take comfort knowing that they’ve never been eliminated from a major UEFA European competition after winning the first leg of a knockout game away from home.

David Moyes will hope his Hammers side can end that run tonight as well as banish their own demons in Germany, with all three of their previous away clashes in Europe against German sides ending in defeat. But West Ham have done it the hard way so far in this competition, turning around each of their last-16 and quarter-final ties in the second legs after failing to get the result they desired in the first leg.
