With Chelsea set to take on one legend in Frank Lampard and Everton at Goodison Park, another legend has been spotted soaking up the atmosphere elsewhere today.

John Terry, who made 713 appearances and scored 67 goals for Chelsea in his playing career, was in attendance in Scotland for Celtic vs Rangers at Celtic Park – with a Hoops scarf wrapped around his neck.

The Chelsea legend was seen recording the Celtic You’ll Never Walk Alone anthem on his phone and soaking in the atmosphere ahead of the fifth Old Firm fixture of the season.

Terry, who is a known enthusiast of Ange Postecoglou’s team, seemed blown away from the vibrant atmosphere at Parkhead ahead of kick-off.

Despite the anthem being connected to Liverpool, a long-time rival for Terry during his Chelsea career, the 41-year-old seemed to be enjoying himself.

The former Chelsea man has been out of work since leaving Aston Villa last summer but has been in the news recently throughout the Blues’ takeover process.

A fan-led group co-founded by Terry wanted to purchase a 10 per cent stake in the club, with Larry Tanenbaum and Stephen Pagliuca confirming their support of the Trues Blues Consortium.
