West Ham press conference LIVE: David Moyes on Eintracht Frankfurt, Kurt Zouma and more

West Ham boss David Moyes will speak to the media today to preview his side’s Europa League semi-final first-leg clash with Eintracht Frankfurt at the London Stadium on Thursday night.

The Hammers are just three games away from making history but first must negotiate past Frankfurt across two legs. The German side knocked out European heavyweights Barcelona in the previous round and, with their Bundesliga season likely to end with a mid-table finish, all their eggs are in the Europa League basket.

Moyes saw his side run out comfortable winners of Group H, clinching the top spot with a game to spare on 13 points. They then progressed past Sevilla in the round of 16 and Lyon in the last eight, registering their biggest European away win with a thumping 3-0 win in France in the second leg to book their spot in the semis.

Eintracht also topped their Group ahead of Olympiacos, Fenerbache and Royal Antwerp before eliminating Real Betis in the first knockout round. They then claimed another Spanish scalp by knocking out Barcelona, drawing 1-1 in Germany after winning 3-2 at the Camp Nou.

Moyes is expected to provide a fresh injury update on his side this afternoon when he speaks to the press, with Hammers fans eager to find out if centre-back Kurt Zouma will be available for the club’s biggest game in decades tomorrow night.
