FC Augsburg will be without Jeffrey Gouweleeuw for the foreseeable future.
The 30-year-old centre-back has tested positive for COVID-19, the Bundesliga outfit have announced.
He missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hertha BSC because he had been in contact with a person infected with the virus.
Gouweleeuw’s injury is a tough blow for Augsburg, who already have to manage without his usual centre-back partner Reece Oxford due to a muscle injury.
