Tottenham have to get back on track against Burnley and that could see a return to a team similar to the one that beat Leeds.
Head coach Antonio Conte was left distinctly unimpressed with Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to NS Mura in Maribor on Thursday night.
Now he needs a performance that will get the confidence flowing through the Spurs players and fans again.
Few of those stumbling players who started the match in Slovenia will get the chance to put things right at Turf Moor.
The only three who could come into contention again are Oliver Skipp, who will battle the fresh Harry Winks and potentially Tanguy Ndombele for a spot in the midfield, Japhet Tanganga, who probably saw his main competition dissolve with Davinson Sanchez’s poor showing in Maribor and Harry Kane.
Kane played the full 90 minutes in midweek but will need to start again in what will be a battle at Burnley.
The likes of Heung-min Son, Lucas Moura, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies are all likely to return to the starting line-up.
On the absentee list, Conte will be without Cristian Romero with his hamstring injury, while the injured Giovani Lo Celso and ill Steven Bergwijn both missed the Europa Conference League humiliation in Slovenia.
Here is the team we reckon Conte will choose to face Sean Dyche’s side:
3-4-3: Lloris; Tanganga, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Son.
