6 other positive cases, the pandemic “invades” the runners-up of Germany

Hard moment for Leipzig. The German runners-up were “occupied” by the coronavirus pandemic before the weekend match with Bayer Leverkusen in the championship.

Three positive cases with Covid-19 were registered at the beginning of the week, while today the number of those affected has gone to 9.

Coach Jesse March, goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi and a member of the technical staff tested positive before the Champions League match against Club Brugge (Leipzig won 0-5 in Belgium).

The next tampons were performed today and the positive with Covid-19 came out defender Willie Orban, strikers Yussuf Poulsen and Hugo Novoa, goalkeeper coach Frederik Gosling.

But also defender Mohamed Simakan and another member of the technical staff. The latter two were not part of the team in the Belgian transfer.
