It remains unclear when Omar Marmoush will be able to make his return to action for VfB Stuttgart.

Marmoush has missed his side’s last four games due to a foot injury, and Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat says he can’t put a timeframe on the 22-year-old’s recovery.

“With regard to Omar, we’re happy that it’s not worse,” Mislintat told Kicker.

“He will need a bit of time,” continued Mislintat, adding that he “can’t predict” if the striker will be fit for this weekend’s clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Marmoush has scored one goal and made two assists in five appearances for Stuttgart since joining ‘Die Schwaben’ on loan from Wolfsburg.
