Despite the competition for Denis Zakaria’s signature, Gladbach still have a chance of holding on to him, says sporting director Max Eberl.

Borussia Mönchengladbach still have a chance of keeping Denis Zakaria beyond the summer, according to club boss Max Eberl.
‘Die Fohlen’ are in danger of losing Zakaria on a free transfer next summer, at which point the midfielder is out of contract.
Roma, Juventus, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are all said to be keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, but Eberl believes he could still sign a new deal.
“We’re not without a chance,” Eberl said in an interview with Kicker.
“It’s a lot of work, but I’m up for it.”
