It feels like just yesterday that the summer transfer window slammed shut but the next one is just around the corner and Chelsea will be looking to do some deals.
Ahead of January, Thomas Tuchel has thrust his side to the front of the title race, currently sitting top of the Premier League by three points as we enter another international break.
Both Manchester City and Liverpool are posing huge threats to the Blues title hopes so gaining any advantage possible in January could well be decisive.
With that in mind, football.london takes you through the latest transfer rumours swirling around Stamford Bridge ahead of the winter window.

Besiktas goalkeeper Ersin Destanoglu is interesting Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window.
“Chelsea have ‘increased contacts’ for Besiktas youngster Ersin Destanoğlu, according to reports in Turkey,” Absolute Chelsea state.
“The report states that Claude Makelele has had a meeting with Besiktas coach Sergen Yalcin in Istanbul regarding the youngster.
“The report states that the Blues are preparing an offer of €12million (£10.2million) for the shot-stopper.”
Former Chelsea ace Andriy Shevchenko recently took up the manager’s position with Serie A side Genoa, and he already has his eye on one player from his former club.
“In search of a new manager, the Serie A side turned their attention to the former striker, who knows the league well from his many years at Milan, and transfer targets are already being drawn up,” the report states.
“One of those, according to Il Secolo XIX and relayed by Sport Mediaset is Christian Pulisic, who only has four appearances to his name under Thomas Tuchel this season at Chelsea.
“Shevchenko has his eye on him, with the American described as ‘ideal for the 4-3-3 the manager has in mind’.”
Matthijs de Ligt

Chelsea’s summer interest in Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt is well reported but if they are to land him in the future, they will have to fend off competition from Manchester City.
“According to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, De Ligt is unhappy with his game time in Turin this season – having featured for 662 minutes across 12 games in all competitions – and he does not feel trusted by current head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
“The report adds that Man City are looking to strengthen their backline in the summer of 2022 and have identified De Ligt as a potential target as they are aware of his current situation.
“In addition, Pep Guardiola is understood to be considering the departure of Nathan Ake next summer, which would free up a space in his City squad to recruit De Ligt, who the Spaniard admires.”
