Wolfsburg coach Florian Kohfeldt had special praise for five of his players in the wake of Saturday’s 1-0 Bundesliga win over Augsburg.

“Paulo [Otavio] is a problem for any defense with his speed. Lukas [Nmecha] is doing very well,” Kohfeldt told Kicker and added:

“[Wout Weghorst] links the other players together. [Josuha Guilavogui] is important on the pitch and in the dressing room.

“[Yannick Gerhardt] gives the team good defensive stability and balance in an attacking position.”

Kohfeldt has won his first three games in charge after replacing Mark van Bommel as coach last month.
