Liverpool suffered their first loss of the season yesterday as the Reds emerged defeated by the challenge against West Ham 3-2. A defeat which has made coach Jurgen Klopp very nervous, given that the German had some claims on arbitration, while his irritation could not contain even in front of a BBC journalist.
The latter has asked the technician to determine in which episodes of the match there were claims, and whether there should be a red card for rivals. “I’m not sure if I want to answer that question because you do not know what situation I’re talking about. It’s not your job to have an opinion? I saw the opposing player hit Alison’s arm and there are places where those cases are fouled.
“It was another situation where the West Ham player clashed with Henderson and there could have been another decision by the referee.” Should the red card have been given? “I am not your doll, I hope that in the end you will reach out and create a personal opinion of your own”, he replied angrily to the journalist Klopp.
