The first Clásico of the season is just around the corner with Barcelona and Real Madrid set to face off on Sunday afternoon.
It has been quite the season already for Barcelona amid a disastrous start to the Champions League and off-the-field issues aplenty.
But amid the return of a number of key players from injury and an important win over Valencia last time out, things are starting to look up again for the Blaugrana.
In fact, in spite of all that has gone on, Barca head into this weekend’s mouth-watering clash with Real Madrid just two points behind their fierce rivals.
Though, even with the apparant recovery, the uptake in tickets hasn’t exactly been overwhelming.
Barca had less than half the full capacity of Camp Nou in attendance for the win over Valencia, and ahead of this Sunday’s Clásico, things are not looking great.
A quick look at Barcelona’s ticket website will tell you that there are still plenty of tickets available for the Clásico with just a matter of days to go.
Of the 40 areas of Camp Nou offered, only three have sold out so far, with ticket prices ranging from €99 all the way up to €747, though eight areas have few tickets available.
Could we see a well-below capacity Camp Nou again this weekend, and for the biggest game of all?
