Juventus is continuing to pay for the mistakes made by former sporting director Fabio Paratici in player transfers and despite this, the Italian is now employed by Tottenham.

Paratici preferred to invest in players who broke their contracts with clubs, increasing their salaries at Juventus, but this policy has turned out to be a failure, as many of the players have failed and remained at the club with high salaries.

The failure to buy Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and the decision to invest millions in Alvaro Morata’s loan have had a major impact on the Serie A giants.

Sportsmail has identified mistakes in the market of Paratic players, while Juventus seeks to raise money from their sales to get back on track.

Wojciech Szczesny

This was probably the biggest trap of the market in which Paratic fell. The Polish goalkeeper is considered a good player and Paratici chose to authorize the renewal of his last contract until 2024 for over 6 million euros salary per year.

If the former sporting director did not continue with the goalkeeper, Juventus would have fewer problems and could have bought Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Pole has had a noticeable and unexplained decline in his performances and does not justify his high salary.

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey’s adventure with Juventus is getting worse and worse. He arrived at Juventus from Arsenal, three summers ago on the recommendation of Paratic, but the Welsh midfielder was never found in Turin and numerous injuries have done so.

During the European Championship the midfielder had stated that he needed special physical preparation to perform as well as possible, but if three different athletic coaches failed to bring him back to 100 percent, perhaps the reasons should be sought from the player.

His salary is among the highest in the squad, but appearances are few. The former Arsenal midfielder has played more minutes with Wales than with Juventus: 447 minutes in six appearances with Wales and only 378 in 11 appearances with Juventus, according to Opta.

Alvaro Morata

Juventus is reflecting on the possibility of buying Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid for over 35 million euros.

Morata has always been a benchmark for Paratic, who persuaded President Andrea Agnelli to invest again in the Spanish striker even after a bad season with Atletico.

Massimiliano Allegri insists on buying Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina and if this deal ends, he would close any discussion on the purchase of the Spanish striker. Juventus have paid 20 million for two years on loan and it may happen that they do not pay the rest to let the Spaniard return to Atletico.

Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie

Even the newly arrived pair at Juventus, are not that excellent. they are on the dock because their performances have been highly controversial on Italian top-flight this season.

Tottenham may be ready to buy the two young midfielders, who have experienced very difficult moments in Turin.
