Theo Hernandez is positive with Covid-19


Italian club, Milan has announced that their French defender, Theo Hernandez has tested positive for COVID-19.

Coronavirus has already affected the Rossoneri and that of one of their key players, Theo Hernandez.

“AC Milan announces that Theo Hernandez, who has returned from the national team, has tested positive. The relevant local health authorities have been informed and the player is doing well “, it is said in the official statement.

The French defender was included in the France squad for the League of Nations finals and contributed to Les Blues victory with a goal and an assist in two games.

His compatriot and Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot was also tested positive for COVID-19 last week, following France’s semi-final against Belgium in Turin.

According to reports in France, Rabiot is one of the players who refused to be vaccinated and it is unclear whether Theo was also vaccinated against COVID.

Theo, 24, scored one goal and recorded three assists in nine appearances in all competitions with the Rossoneri so far this season.

His contract at the San Siro expires in June 2024, but according to numerous reports in Italy, the Red and Blacks are willing to extend his stay at the club by giving him a pay rise.
