Bild journalist Christian Falk is reporting that Newcastle United are interested in Bayern München centre-back Niklas Süle.

Newcastle United have reportedly emerged as suitors for Bayern München defender Niklas Süle following their Saudi-led takeover.
According to Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk, the English Premier League side are interested in the centre-back.
Süle is out of contract at the German champions next summer and is stalling over a new deal.
The 26-year-old German international recently refused to commit his future to Bayern, telling Süddeutsche Zeitung:
“Of course I’m thinking about my future, but I really can’t say yet what it will bring.
“I never said that I definitely have to leave, but I never said that I definitely have to stay here either.
“I know what I have at the club. But I also know that such decisions are always about trust – trust from me to the club, but especially vice versa.
“It’s possible that I say: ‘I’m on a free transfer and want to try something new’.
“Everything is open in every direction. I can imagine anything.”
Falk has also addressed reports linking Ralf Rangnick with the manager job on Tyneside, claiming that the former RB Leipzig chief is indeed interested in a role at the club.
