Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Tuesday, October 12.
Lamela hails Sevilla spell
Former Tottenham forward Erik Lamela has revealed that he is in his ‘best moment’ having joined Sevilla in the summer.
The Argentine has enjoyed a promising start to the new campaign and has been praising his new employers.
Talking to AS, he said: “I feel in the best moment of maturity. All these years have served me as an experience to grow as a player and a person.
“I am at a time when I feel in this place, and I am excited. I am happy to be here and to take advantage to play football.”
Vlahovic move refuted
Tottenham director Fabio Paratici has appeared to have poured cold water on the prospect of the club making a move for Dusan Vlahovic – in the immediate future at least.
The Serbian striker has garnered plenty of attention for his performances for Fiorentina, including from Spurs.
With Vlahovic having rejected a new deal with the Serie A outfit, a move looked somewhat possible but that has been rejected by Paratici.
Talking at the Festival dello Sport event, he said: “Dusan Vlahovic is appreciated by many clubs, it’s normal – he’s not in our plans, for now.
“I’m not gonna speak about Dusan Vlahovic as he’s under contract with Fiorentina… and also because we’ve Harry Kane, who’s the best centre-striker in the world.”

Real Madrid enter Reguilon negotiations
Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly entered negotiations with Tottenham over the potential signing of Spurs defender Sergio Reguilon.
The Spanish left-back departed the Santiago Bernabeu last summer, with a buy-back clause slotted into the deal.
According to Defensa Central, Los Blancos are attempting to negotiate that deal down should they choose to activate the clause next summer.
