FC Bayern München youngster Jamal Musiala has discussed his quick rise to prominence in an interview with Kicker.

Musiala has featured 48 times for Bayern’s first team, scoring 11 goals and making four assists, since he made his senior debut in June 2020.

On an international level, the 18-year-old has played eight times for Germany after making his senior international debut in March.

“It’s crazy how quickly it has all happened. Sometimes I need a few minutes to grasp it all,” said Musiala.

“I worked very early on to be mentally ready for games. That gives me stability,” added the attacking midfielder.

“I’m still a bit nervous before games, but very calm on the pitch.”
