Marco Reus, It Felt very Difficult and Weren’t at our Best.

Borussia Dortmund narrowly defeated Sporting CP last night with a 1-0 win in the champions league clash as they showed up without Haaland.

Dortmund Captain Marco Reus admitted they didn’t play their best during their post-match conference.

“It felt very difficult. We didn’t produce our best performance. We absolutely wanted to win and have now picked up six points,” said Reus, who started the game after coming back from a minor knee injury.

“The match was so important, I obviously wanted to be involved. We showed a good attitude and worked well off the ball,” added the Dortmund captain.

“We’re satisfied for today and will now switch our focus to the weekend.”

Dortmund’s next game will be with Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday, hopefully, Haaland will be back on the pitch.
