Chelsea injury Update ahead of Juventus Clash.
The Blues will be looking to get their second champions league win tonight as they face Italian giants Juventus but without some of their key players.
Here are the latest updates on Ngolo Kante, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic.
Tuchel yesterday already revealed Kante tested positive for covid and won’t be available.
He confirmed this during his Champions League pre-match press conference in Italy
He said: “N’Golo, unfortunately, tested positive, and needs to have time and follow the government protocols.
“He was not in training today and of course was not with the group.”
Reece James picked up an injury over the weekend when the blues faced Mancity.
Tuchel shared that his injury deals with pain management and he will be available in a week.
“Reece’s injury is still very painful and it will come down to pain management in the end. How much he can accept but right no we’re looking at a minimum of one more week.”
As for Mason Mount, he got injured during the Carabao Cup match against Aston Villa.
From what Tuchel shared during his prematch press there’s a high chance he will come off the bench against Juventus.
“I absolutely don’t know, we have to see. In the end, it will be a matter of hours as to whether he makes it or not.”
The Chelsea winger suffered an ankle injury on international duty, and haven’t featured in major premier league matches this season. Although his back in training, but his name was missing isn’t included in the team list.
