Chelsea Update: Rudiger Contract, Christensen Stats, Charly Musonda.

Chelsea lost to Man City and are hoping to win Juventus on Wednesday.

Juventus will face Chelsea without their star players Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. On the other hand, Chelsea have their injury scare too with  Mason Mount and Reece James and Pulisic unfit and likely to miss the game.

The Champions League match will be sure exciting as both teams have a strong squad, here are updates on Rudiger, Christensen and Charly Musonda.

Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea centre back Rudiger, has been linked with clubs like Madrid and Bayern because he has been delaying renegotiating his contract. Over the weekend we head from Hasan and assured us Bayern will not be signing Rudiger.

Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic recently said in an interview that they have a lot of centre backs and won’t need more.

Rudiger recently shared he is not in a hurry to make a decision concerning his contract, as it’s the most important decision of his career right now.

Christensen’s Statistic

Christensen had an amazing weekend, despite the blues losing 1-0 to Man City. He was solid at the back, won a lot of possession, broke a premier league record of 11 possession wins in the defensive third. The Danish international has been outstanding since the Euros.

Musonda returns

Charly Musonda is finally back, after spending a year or two at a recovery centre in Dubai.

The winger played for the first time two years after suffering a posterior cruciate ligament injury while he was playing for Vitesse Arnhem on loan.

Musonda helped Chelsea U23s’ win, Liverpool, although he had a slow start in the match. But in the end, he was the fans favourite.
