Chelsea’s head coach claims that everyone at Chelsea wins/loses together.

He made this statement during his post-match press conference. Here is everything he said;

“Officially, we are not pleased with how our game played and the decisions made. You must be at the best level in all areas of the game. And we clearly weren’t,” he stated.

“We are one in this so we need the best coaching and the best players. We will review it now with all the self-reflection that is necessary. Our decision making and passing were poor enough to lose.

“We have to acknowledge that City was better than we are today. Tuchel admitted that they were better and sharper.

“It is not about making people outperform. It’s about making our opponents outperform. City did that for us. I never felt comfortable with short passes. Because Romelu is upfront, I’m not sure I can make decisions for long balls.

“It gets harder every day and today, when it was easy to escape the pressure that was too much, we took the bad decisions to our strikers. Because when we played with our strikers, they made bad calls at the first contact, lost possession of the ball, so you lose more belief.

“Without this belief, that genuine belief and confidence it helps your opponents. Overall, City got a well-deserved win.

He also said: “It’ll be a matter for the end hours if it makes it or otherwise. I have no idea.”

When asked about loftus cheek, he had nothing but praises for the Chelsea midfielder.

“I was happy that he was there. He played against Zenit. He also played against Aston Villa. Tuchel stated that we don’t reward without deserving.
