Mkhitaryan: Pellegrini didn’t deserve Red Card.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has protested the red card shown to Lorenzo Pellegrini last night against Udinese.

Lorenzo Pellegrini was awarded a second card at the end of the match for elbowing a Zebrette teammate in an aerial challenge.

Pellegrini will now miss one of the season most important matches against Lazio on Sunday evening.

Mkhitaryan shared his disapproval of the referee decision.

“We have just lost our captain for derby, a leader which lifts the rest up.

“We hope we don’t have to wait for certain moments like that.” It wasn’t a second yellow card, but it has occurred. We should think about Sunday’s football match.

Mkhitaryan was interviewed about the role he plays as Roma coach Jose Mourinho. However, he said that he isn’t worried about what he does on the pitch.

“It doesn’t matter where I play, but the coach decides if you are a support striker/winger,” said the Giallorossi attacker.

“It’s important to win, it doesn’t matter where I play.”
