Kante query, Werner Uncertainty – Tuchels fears ahead of Chelsea vs Man City

The weekend is close and one of the biggest matches we are anticipating is Chelsea vs Manchester City.

Tuchel has done an amazing job with the Chelsea team and he has only been there for nine months. This will be the fourth time he will be facing Pep Guardiola, and he has won the Man city boss three times in their last meetings.

On the other hand, there are some negatives for City fans, as Kevin De Bruyne’s and Raheem’s might not be available for the Chelsea match.

Today Tuchel will give his pre-match press conference and we will get some inside on the upcoming game.

Will Timo Werner Play?

Werner was an important part of all three City victories last season, and his impact on the games varied, but fingers crossed we hope to see him paired upfront with lukaku.

However, he didn’t accept a penalty due to pain in the calf. It is likely that this will not be a major issue and that the German will at least be available from the bench.

Can N’Golo Kante play 90 minutes?

N’Golo Kante being subbed at halftime caused some scare. Although Tuchel assured Chelsea supporters that his substitution had been planned before the match.

Kante’s value in big games has been shown time and time again, he is a big player and his work rate is second to none. I believe he is crucial for Saturday’s game.

Has Ruben Loftus-Cheek overtaken Saul?

LoftusCheek made his first start of the season at the Caraoba Cup game against Aston Villa and was then given a surprising position. The academy graduate was assigned to number six, while former Atletico player Saul was moved to the left.

LoftusCheek had an amazing game, made a lot of runs and key passes. So much he outshines Saul.

It’s not enough to allow him to beat Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic but this could mean the midfielder can be an option from the bench in the future.
