Emerson Palmieri finally shares why he made the life-changing decision after the Euros. The left-back won the Champions League title for Italy and helped them to win Euro 2020.

Peter Bosz granted a loan move to Lyon for left-back, and the team eventually won the Ligue 1 title.
Emerson also shared that he was close to not going to Lyon because he was leaning towards going to Serie A giants Napoli.

I talked to Luciiano Spalletti to give my agreement to Napoli,” the Euros champion told Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness.
“I don’t know what happened. Lyon presented me a very good project. I was able to decide in two or three days. I think I’ve made the right call. There’s a strong, young group. And the Brazilians helped my settle in immediately.”
